This is a woman voting, thanks to Susan B. Anthony.
Today, women can vote. If Anthony hadn't read that article in the paper written by Stone and Greeley, women would still be fighting for the vote today. What Anthony did took a lot of courage, and she continued her work until her death.

Susan B. Anthony played a huge role in American history. After she died, she was buried at Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends, family, and people she inspired visited her grave to thank her for all her work so that women would have the right to vote.
